Field Trip: Cake Opera Co.

I recently had a chance to visit Cake Opera Co., a stunning cake atelier in Toronto run by Alexandria Pellegrino and Jessica Smith. This dynamic duo are turning the cake world on it's ear with their innovative designs, and handcrafted details. Each cake truly is a couture creation, and the level of detail seen on each of their confections is breathtaking. So much so, that Hollywood is now taking notice as well. The cake design house was recently chosen to travel to Los Angeles and create Nicole Ritchie's wedding cake!

Cakes, aside, the charming boutique also features some of the city's most decadent French macarons, cupcakes, nougats and meringues. I think I could just stand in the middle of the shoppe all day and never tire of looking at all stunning details and delights.

A must visit for visitors and locals alike - located near Forest Hill on Eglinton west of Bathurst.
